I would highly recommend Sarah. In just a few weeks I have felt the best I’ve done in years. I feel energised and so much more in control. I don’t have those energy dips in the day and I’m more focussed than ever before. Not only are the scales going down but my body is changing shape. Sarah has educated me on how to shop and what to cook. She’s has inspired me with incredible recipes to keep meals varied and exciting and colourful and my whole family are eating better than ever. Sarah is also incredibly motivating. Every week she sets 3 attainable goals that I strive to build into my lifestyle. She’s also got me moving more than ever before. I was introduced to Sarah at the start of lockdown - and the timing could not have been more perfect! As a 43 year old working mum with 2 young children, life is very hectic and there were a few issues I have wanted to crack for a very long time. Over the past 10 years I have lost - and regained - the same stone, only each year it was getting harder to lose every pound (meanwhile the weight crept back on faster and faster each time). I had tried every diet in the book and was already exercising 3-4 times a week but failed to see results that stuck - as a result I was frustrated and also very hard on myself. My patience / stress levels were not amazing (even before lockdown) and I had a number of creaks and pains that were getting worse each year.
Then I met Sarah. She was a calming influence who took a lot of time to listen and understand all of my frustrations, as well as probe into my medical and health background. She identified a really simple but comprehensive (and do-able) plan that included some adjustments to my diet and changes to my lifestyle which included introducing mindful meditation on a regular/daily basis. I had to cut out sugar and follow a low GI-based diet to try to reduce inflammation which she suspected was impacting the weight fluctuations and joint pains. We tried it out for a week - I immediately felt better. But knowing that I had her support really made a big difference. She made me accountable but without huge pressure. Sarah has shown me that with a few adjustments it is possible to see real change, and that this is a marathon rather than a sprint to fit into a dress or a swimsuit. She made helpful suggestions throughout the process and provided ongoing support at a challenging time.
