Since I can remember, I have always been conscious about needing to be healthy. There is so much information and so many views on what is right and what is wrong, that one gets mixed up and can easily feel like a loose canon.
As a mother of 4 children, it was only a few years after my 4th child was born that I managed to find a balance and peace with my own body. It was also important for me to bring up my children in an environment that would optimise their wellbeing and give them the best possible start in life.
Having struggled with my weight for many years, it is only after studying and understanding how the body works and how best to support it, that I have managed to affirm my beliefs and feel confident within.
